Experience

Not a résumé, but a record of missions. For every role: what it set out to do, what I contributed, and what it changed in how I build.

AltBase

Creator & Maintainer

A real, production platform for AltSchool alumni that I designed, built, and still run. It's a living directory and a place to collaborate, owned end to end, live and still improving.

  • Own the whole thing: product design, frontend, the data model, and keeping it live.
  • Reshaped the database and shipped real-time features while people were using the app, without breaking what worked.
  • Ship updates on a weekly rhythm, driven by direct feedback from the alumni community.

Badagry Tech Bridges

Founder & Product Engineer

A virtual non-profit I started to build a way into tech where there wasn't one, giving young people in underserved communities real mentorship and accountability so they can break in.

  • Designed a virtual, group-accountability model that reaches young people without waiting for a physical workshop.
  • Kept the curriculum focused on the foundations that matter most: thinking logically, building modern web apps, and finding your way around the industry.
  • Built a culture of discipline, ownership, and peer support from the ground up.

Independent

Product Engineer · Design & Frontend

Freelance and independent work, taking ideas from the first sketch all the way to a live interface, for founders and teams who want an engineer that thinks like a designer.

  • Designed and built products end to end, including Styleon, a fast typography tool for creators.
  • Built the frontend for Toritype, a Nigerian English and Pidgin speech-to-text product, and helped get the fine-tuned model deployed.
  • Partner on the discovery, not just the delivery, and speak up for the user when the technical calls are made.

Software Engineering

The reset. Where I stopped thinking of engineering as syntax and started thinking like a product owner: clear thinking, structure, and the person on the other side of the screen.

  • Built a foundation in frontend engineering and product thinking.
  • Learned to ask why before how, to sit with the problem before writing the solution.
  • Found the community and mentors who changed my path.

Systems, before software

Where the systems mindset was formed. Vehicle rewiring and mechanical troubleshooting taught me to follow a fault from symptom to cause, debugging before I knew the word.

  • Learned to respect how things are built and how parts behave under load.
  • Built the patience for systems that refuse to start, and the discipline to find the real fault.
  • Carried that hands-on, get-to-the-cause instinct straight into software.
